Prior to joining Six Degrees, Orrin had recruitment experience in the manufacturing, supply chain and logistics. He joined us with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, where he majored in Human Resource Management.

Orrin started his recruitment career in volume recruitment, working in the industrial division with a focus on blue collar recruitment particularly in roles that included forklift drivers, machine operators, labourers, and pick-packers. From here, Orrin moved on and became a more generalist recruiter in white collar, filling everything from operations managers, receptionists, executive assistants and business development managers.

It seems that Orrin was made for a career in recruitment, with his professional passion lying in building relationships both with businesses and job seekers. He prides himself on his focus on positive experiences with all who he works with, and understands that reputation and relationships are the cornerstones for great recruitment.

When Orrin isn’t working on his professional relationships, he’s getting nothing but net on the basketball court, with a passion for playing the game. He shows focus, with his professional motto being, “the main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.”
