About the Role:

Seeking a skilled and motivated Project/Process Engineer to support engineering and facility management operations for a leading organisation in the Melbourne area. In this role, you will be responsible for asset collection, verification, and assisting with the data upload process for asset, maintenance, and spare part information. This includes working with utilities and electrical equipment. Additionally, you will provide timely project updates, manage risks, and ensure project deliverables are met. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of a project.

You will be working for a engineering design and consulting business, who specialise in delivering end-to-end projects within the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Review assets and supporting documentation, including P&IDs, equipment manuals, and asset lists.
  • collect and verify asset, maintenance plans, and spare parts data based on provided templates.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to develop and manage maintenance plans and spare parts lists.
  • Attend the site will be necessary to verify assets and ensure the accuracy of the collected data.
  • Attend project meetings and workshops to ensure alignment on asset collection and verification activities.
  • Report on project progress, risks, and issues to ensure effective decision-making.
  • Assist with other operational activities related to project readiness, such as documentation creation, scope development, and providing technical support when needed.


Skills & Qualifications required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar.
  • 3-5 years of experience in engineering, commissioning, qualification, or maintenance coordination.
  • Experience within utilities, equipment commissioning, and maintenance is desirable. 
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus.
  • Ability to convey technical information clearly and work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
