Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to join their team on a contract basis.

 
About the Role:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, results-driven professional to join a growing food manufacturing company and contribute to its continued success.


Key Responsibilities include:
  • Supervise and lead the production team to ensure all production targets, quality standards, and timelines are met.
  • Manage the daily workflow and ensure efficient and safe operation of production lines.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless production processes.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports, tracking key metrics such as efficiency, downtime, and output.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Experience working in a chilled goods manufacturing facilityhighly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and manufacturing best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
