About the role
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the development and execution of national and state plans and strategies, including annual sales and financial budgets for the Western Australian market.
- Support the national business objectives in relation to new product development and operational changes as required
- Complete sales, finance, administration and general reporting duties including manage all trade-related spend, including Area Manager compliance with the pricing strategy and monthly wholesaler claims.
- Work with your sales team to set and achieve State sales budgets and distribution targets.
- Build and manage mutually beneficial key trade relationships including, but not limited to State Wholesalers, Banner and Ownership Groups
- Identify new key account or destination business development opportunities for Coopers’ portfolio and its partner brands in the on-premise market.
- Recruit and retain a state sales team that embodies Coopers’ Guiding Principles.
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture within your team. Lead, nurture and facilitate the development of your direct reports, including by setting State and individual performance targets.
- Achieve and maintain a high performing team by way of mentoring, coaching and performance management.
About You
- 5-10 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a demonstrable record of high achievement
- Held a similar role within a leading FMCG business, ideally in the liquor industry, and with an exposure to and understanding of the WA Market
