They are now looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their team and manage a diverse range of projects across multiple sites in Melbourne.

 
About the role

As a Project Engineer, you will be pivotal in delivering critical engineering projects across multiple manufacturing sites. This exciting role involves managing and coordinating the execution of varying projects, from process improvements and plant upgrades to new installations and machinery optimisations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

 
Key duties of this role will include:

  • Lead and oversee engineering projects across multiple sites.
  • Ensure all projects comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, providing solutions to obstacles that arise during project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and performance.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting for stakeholders.
 
Skills & Requirements for this role:
  • Degree in Engineering essential.
  • Proven experience in a Project Engineering role within the food & beverage industry highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and plant operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
