This Premium quality D&C fit-out specialist are looking for an experienced Services Engineer/Manager to join the team working with their preconstruction and delivery teams to ensure that all projects run smoothly.   

The company who are well established and have been around for over 40 years, they specialise in premium office fit-out projects up to $10 million. They are highly respected in what they do and due to increased volume they are looking to add this new role to their business permanently.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee construction projects, ensuring successful delivery of all services via third party trades.
  • Manage project planning, scheduling, and change management, coordinating with stakeholders to maintain time lines and budgets.
  • Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to identify and mitigate risks related to construction methodologies, site works, and compliance.
  • Participate in site meetings to ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Review and process monthly progress claims, working with project teams to verify claims and manage reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate vendor and trade interfaces, ensuring seamless procurement and reviewing trade recommendations.
  • Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders, establishing regular project meetings and maintaining project documentation.
  • Support cost control efforts, working with project accountants and finance teams to manage budgets and expenditures.
  • Oversee commissioning plans, ensuring functional testing of all facility operations before handover.
  • Manage defect rectification and handover processes, ensuring compliance, documentation, and licensing requirements are met.
About You
  • Experience of delivering projects in a Services Engineer/Manager role from start to finish 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to influence, build consensus, and work well within a team environment
  • Ability to liaise with customers during the sales and settlement processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
