Six Degrees are working with one of our favourite clients and assisting them with the recruitment of their Head of Engineering. This role is responsible for providing strategic direction to the plant, and engineering functions. In this role the ANZ Engineering Manager develops, maintains, and continuously evolves environment, maintenance & engineering strategies, initiatives and systems of work, to drive reliable performance, results and cost and sustainability initiatives in line with local and global trends.

To be successful in this role you will need a bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering/mechanical/ electrical field or other related field and five (5) years of relevant experience or Relevant tertiary qualification and ten (10) years of relevant experience. The incumbent will have a comprehensive managerial and technical background attained through education/training, broad exposure to several technical disciplines, and management experience in a technical capacity. Previous working experience in a factory environment – preference for food manufacturing. You will also possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Pro-active, problem solving and results oriented. Team player with a strong ability to work as part of a multi-functional team to achieve goals/outcomes
