About the role
The Head of Audience Growth will lead innovative strategies to attract new audiences, enhance engagement, and foster long-term relationships with The Australian Ballet’s audience base. This newly created role focuses on driving data-led initiatives, innovative ticketing and pricing strategies, and audience growth initiatives to retain loyal subscribers, deepen engagement with existing audiences, and expand the reach to new and diverse communities. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Brand, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of audience engagement for one of Australia’s leading arts organisations.

Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Extensive demonstrated experience in audience development, marketing initiatives, and sales and ticketing strategies
  • Proven track record of successful ticketing/sales campaigns and audience growth and engagement initiatives in medium to large scale organisations
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams, in particular, leading teams of customer facing employees
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in ticketing tools, Tessitura preferred
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for the arts
