About the Role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for planning, executing, and analysing marketing campaigns to drive awareness and attendance for the organisation's extensive national events and conference program. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the coordination and execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns for events, encompassing content creation, social media, paid advertising, and campaign tracking.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to support strategic campaign ideation and strategy.
- Manage project timelines using Monday.com, ensuring smooth, on-time campaign delivery across teams.
- Develop and distribute event-focused eDMs, advertisements, and social media content to promote engagement and attendance growth.
- Track and report on event content performance across social media channels to optimise engagement.
- Oversee event marketing assets and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive campaign success.
- Provide data-driven insights to enhance campaign performance and adjust strategy as needed.
- Support budget preparation and account reconciliation for event marketing initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in events marketing, ideally with a background in managing campaigns specifically for events.
- Demonstrated experience in paid media channels, including social media advertising, and familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills across various platforms, including social media and eDMs.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, including coordinating with teams and agencies to deliver on marketing objectives.
- Proficiency in using tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and Monday.com.
- A Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Full Australian working rights are essential.
