About the Role
As the Marketing Manager, you will lead the strategic development and hands-on execution of marketing initiatives to drive growth for national events, memberships, and educational programs. In this role, you’ll manage a small team and work with stakeholders to develop effective, creative solutions. Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies across events, membership acquisition, sponsorship, and educational programs.
  • Oversee end-to-end campaigns, specifically targeting membership growth and event attendance, from planning through to performance analysis.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts, including paid channels and marketing automation, utilising tools like Pardot or similar CRM systems to drive audience segmentation and customer journey enhancement.
  • Drive campaign success across various events, including national summits, regional conferences, and online forums.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities for member and sponsor engagement, implementing innovative marketing strategies.
  • Manage media planning, buying, and agency relationships to ensure budget optimization and effective advertising placement.
  • Oversee the production of engaging content and collaborate with designers on digital, print, and event materials.

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, you should have:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within membership associations or service-based industries.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing activities, including paid media channels, audience segmentation, and marketing automation tools (e.g., Pardot or similar CRM platforms).
  • Proven experience in developing and executing end-to-end campaigns to drive membership acquisition and event engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency in campaign analytics, media buying, and budget management.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Excellent communication skills and a talent for stakeholder engagement.
  • A Degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
