Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of identifying, pursuing, and capturing new business opportunities through proactive strategies.
  • Conduct extensive market research and analysis to identify untapped industries, high-potential prospects, and emerging market trends.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads by cold calling, networking, industry events, and leveraging online platforms.
  • Engage with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and executives to understand their business needs and demonstrate the value of our solution.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies, tactics, and action plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Prepare persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and customized pitches that effectively communicate our value proposition and differentiate us from competitors.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and delivery, to ensure seamless client onboarding and successful project execution.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and progress in the CRM system.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market shifts to identify new business opportunities and stay one step ahead.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of success as a business development manager, consistently exceeding new business sales targets.
  • Extensive experience in a B2B sales role, preferably in the learning and development industry or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in prospecting, cold calling, and building relationships from scratch.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a keen ability to navigate complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and driven by targets and results.
