About the company
Our client is in the FMCG / food manufacturing space based in the southeastern suburbs, who are looking for an immediately available Financial Controller for a temporary to permanent opportunity. You will start off on a contract and then transition to permanent.
 
 
About the role
The Financial Controller role manages a team and reports to the CFO. This position will be responsible for managing AR/AP and accounting functions in this medium sized business, who manufacture locally and sell to both the Australian market and export overseas.
 
Your responsibilities will include leadership and management of the finance team, continued reporting requirements, risk and governance, and process improvements. You will be leaned on for both your strategic and commercial skill-set as well as your hands on technical skill-set. The team is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial control including stock and inventory control, cash flow management, cost management and compliance.
 
 
About you
  • You are immediately available
  • You have experience in FMCG / food manufacturing
  • You have experience leading a team
  • CPA/CA qualification required
  • Previous experience in a financial controller/head of finance capacity
