About the Role:
 
This role is responsible for the continued revenue, gross margin and customer growth across specified channels (NFP & Education) with the majority of the company’s core product and service offerings to their customers/members.
 
The Business Manager is responsible for developing new profitable business, achievement of the annual sales and margin budget, building major customer relationships, expanding the customer/membership and actively contributing to the successful development of the specified sectors for the business. The position plays a key role in the future growth of the organisation

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Accountability for key sales metrics within specified channels (NFP & Education)
  • Initiates and drives positive change to deliver:
  1. A KPI target led and margin growth motivated sales outcome for your specified channel.
  2. Upskilling in data analysis (Salesforce) capability within your specified channel.
  • Establish & maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships across your specified channel and or channels.
  • Update the Customer engagement activities into the CRM system, with key focus on opportunities, wins/losses and customer engagement.

Skills & Experience:

 
  • A critical thinker with an aptitude to continually learn new skills.
  • A grounded, practical and engaging sales professional who does what they say.
  • A natural negotiator with advanced emotional intelligence in engagement of customers, managing conflict and building trusted reputations.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently and to use initiative and problem solving skills to organise and prioritise workloads.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
