About the Company 

We have partnered with a large-scale Not-for-profit who are focussed on revolutionising cancer treatment and support to Australians, wherever they are in their Cancer journey. The organisation develops independent, evidence-based information on cancer prevention, detection, treatment and care, and support innovative research with the aim of improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

About the Role

The Project Manager will play an integral part in the success of a large scale program within the organisation, and will be responsible for strategic project management to ensure timelines and goals are met as the program progresses. In the shorter term, this person will liaise with different streams of work and integrate the relevant stakeholders. The Project Manager will conduct immediate and ongoing program tracking, and report on the overall activity and progress. This person will be involved with government grants and contracts and will work with key stakeholders across states and territories, as well as in the Department of Health and internal leadership teams.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have strong experience with complex projects involving a multitude of stakeholders and have the ability to communicate effectively with senior execs. You will ideally have exposure to government grants and understand the intricacies of government departments and how to interact with them. The Project Manager must have excellent reporting skills and be able to adapt their approach dependent on the audience, and collate key information based on a range of project deliverables. This person must have excellent relationship building skills and proven experience in Project Management.
