About the Role
Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions within their Azure Cloud data and analytics platform. You’ll be responsible for building data pipelines, integrating and aggregating data, curating datasets, and ensuring compliance with governance and security standards.

What You’ll Do
✔ Develop & Deploy end-to-end Azure Cloud data solutions.
✔ Build & Maintain data integration, ingestion, and aggregation patterns.
✔ Model & Curate structured and unstructured data for analytics and insights.
✔ Ensure Compliance with data governance and security standards.
✔ Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that drive impact.
✔ Monitor & Optimise data consumption patterns and schema changes.
✔ Educate & Empower teams on best practices in data usage and analytics.

What We’re Looking For
✅ Postgraduate qualifications (or progress towards) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related discipline – or equivalent experience.
✅ Expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Azure Cloud for data acquisition, integration, and modelling.
✅ Hands-on experience working with large datasets, structured & unstructured data, and BI tools.
✅ Proficiency in database programming languages (relational and non-relational databases).
✅ Knowledge of cloud services and ability to work across multi-cloud environments.
✅ Strong communication & stakeholder engagement skills – ability to translate technical insights into business impact.
✅ Experience in data governance & security frameworks.
