Our client is a financial advisory & accounting services firm servicing the SME & HNW sector providing tax, accounting and wealth management solutions. The organisation has grown over many years and are geographically located across Australian & NZ, they are passionate about providing a high touch, personalised approach to help their clients achieve their financial, professional and life goals.

Due to the organisation looking to continue their growth trajectory, they are looking for a high performing sales leader that has strong experience and exposure working within the SME space.

About the Position

The Head of Growth Development will be responsible for leading a team of approx. 13 individuals with a core focus on delivering revenue growth by nurturing and growing existing relationships with their accounting, tax and wealth advisors to identify relevant cross sell opportunities, whilst also nurturing inbound leads and taking them through the traditional sales model to identify the most relevant solution for them. board.

This is a leadership position which requires:
  • Development and implementation of comprehensive sales strategies withinthe SME space to achieve revenue targets.
  • Establishment of clear targets, performance and activity metrics, and incentives to drive individual and team success.
  • Leadership of a rapidly growing team of 13 , undertaking regular sales meetings to track and review performance, discuss market trends, and address challenges.
  • Monitoring and management of the sales pipeline, working with Revenue Operations to deliver accurate forecasts

About You

The individual will have a strong sales leadership background within financial services or business advisory that has worked with SMB customers and can demonstrate their success leading a team & business through a growth phase.

They will also have:
  • A Deep understanding and application of recognised sales methodologies to drive sales performance.
  • A proven track record of building strong relationships with partners, clients and stakeholders in financial / professional services.
  • Experience in leveraging tools like Power BI and Salesforce to drive efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring sales professionals to exceed their best in fast growth environments.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales leadership.
