Six Degrees have partnered with an Australian Food and Beverage manufacturing business who are based in Ingleburn, NSW. The role is newly created as part of an exciting expansion project and will focus on streamlining production from an engineering standpoint.
We are looking for a Process Engineer who will focus on Process and continuous improvement at the current facility, as well as run projects during the commissioning of several new manufacturing lines. To be considered for this role you MUST have previous working experience in a food or beverage manufacturing plant with full Australian work rights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and manage plant/machinery upgrades, process optimisation & modifications, and replacements CAPEX projects.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion including cost benefit analysis, design review, risk management, budget control, contractor management, implementation and commissioning of new components and machinery.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements for new plant & equipment.
  • Project manage the commissioning of a new manufacturing site from an equipment and process standpoint including utilities and services.
  • Lead & own HAZOP & CHAZOP process for all CAPEX & OPEX projects.
 
The successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in Food or Beverage Manufacturing (dairy preferred) as a Process or Project Engineer.
  • Proven experience running Continuous and Process Improvement projects.
  • Previous experience with equipment selection and commissioning is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, process optimisation methodologies, and lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Strong ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
