Originally rooted in outdoor and agricultural products, they have successfully expanded into the homewares category, now making up the majority of their business. With a strong presence in major retailers and a network of 2,500+ customers across Australia, they continue to experience significant growth. They are investing in their team by bringing in several new roles, including this exciting opportunity in Victoria.

About the Role
This is a field-based Area Sales Manager role, responsible for managing and expanding a designated territory across metro and outer metro Victoria. The focus will be on strengthening relationships with existing customers, particularly independent outdoor retailers, as well as actively seeking out new business opportunities. With the addition of a new well known brand, this role presents a unique opportunity to showcase and grow the outdoor category within the business. Success in this role will come from a mix of strong customer service, sales execution, and the ability to identify and convert new opportunities. Full training and support will be provided, with access to showrooms and key sales tools to drive performance. This role covers Vic, S.A & Tasmania.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within FMCG, consumer goods, homewares, or outdoor products in an Area Sales or Territory Sales Manager capacity.
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset, with a passion for hunting new business while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to manage a sales territory independently, taking full ownership of growth and service.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage retailers and drive brand success.
  • Experience working with major retailers or independent stores is highly regarded.
  • Comfortable using CRM and reporting tools to track sales activity and performance.
  • A team player who can collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
