About the Role:
Are you passionate about the great outdoors and ready to drive sales growth across the beautiful NSW region? We are looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven Area Sales Manager to join a leading wholesale distributor in the outdoor sector. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves building strong customer relationships and representing a high-quality product portfolio that customers trust and love.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and grow key accounts – Build and nurture relationships with retail partners and independent customers across the outdoor sector in NSW.
  • Drive sales growth – Promote a premium range of outdoor products to increase sales and expand market reach.
  • Build lasting partnerships – Establish strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify new opportunities – Proactively scout and target new business opportunities in the region, expanding your customer base.
  • Collaborate for success – Work closely with internal teams to develop and execute tailored sales strategies that deliver results.
  • Stay ahead of the competition – Keep an eye on market trends and competitors, ensuring we’re always one step ahead.
  • Report on performance – Provide regular updates on sales achievements, growth opportunities, and customer feedback.
About You:
  • You have proven sales experience in wholesale distribution or a related field (experience in the outdoor or retail sector is a bonus).
  • Your communication and negotiation skills are second to none, allowing you to form meaningful, lasting relationships with customers.
  • You are self-motivated, proactive, and thrive in both independent and team-oriented environments.
  • You have a genuine passion for the outdoor industry, with a keen understanding of its trends, products, and customer needs.
  • You’re comfortable with travel and managing a diverse set of accounts across the region.
