Role Overview:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) role in VIC will focus on managing and growing relationships with a range of corporate clients, with a strong emphasis on business development, customer service and exceeding sales targets. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys client interaction, and has a strong service orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales and margin targets by making at least 80 sales calls per month, 25% of which should be face-to-face.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key corporate accounts, creating business development plans to identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
- Proactively generate business, provide quotes, and secure service contracts.
- Use Oneforce CRM to track client details, sales activities, and ensure timely follow-up.
Skills & Attributes:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management roles.
- Strong customer service focus, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage a portfolio of clients.
- A proactive mindset with a strong drive to achieve sales and margin targets.
- Experience with a technical product that involves a servicing arm is advantageous.
