Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will drive Zip’s growth within the Victorian government sector, focusing on building relationships and expanding business in education, health, aged care and corrections. This role is ideal for someone proactive with a focus on new business development, who has experience selling into the above government sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales and margin targets by maintaining a consistent call cycle, including face-to-face meetings.
- Build relationships with government sector clients and channel partners.
- Create and execute business development plans for key clients.
- Generate and follow up on new business opportunities for Supply & Install and HydroCare services and maintenance agreements.
- Keep updated on industry trends and Zip’s product knowledge to support clients.
Skills & Attributes:
- Proven experience in business development and sales.
- Strong understanding of the government sector, particularly education and health.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities while meeting sales targets.
- Proactive, results-driven with a strong focus on business growth.
- Experience with a technical product that involves a servicing arm is advantageous.
