About the Role

As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance function to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime. Leading a team of fitters and electricians, you will play a key role in achieving production goals, managing projects, and driving continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of 9 direct reports and external contractors.
  • Overseeing daily maintenance activities to minimize disruptions and ensure efficient production.
  • Developing and formalizing preventative maintenance schedules to extend asset lifespan.
  • Managing the maintenance budget and resources effectively.
  • Driving key projects, including facility refurbishments and automation initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for candidates with:
  • Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role, ideally in food processing or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance, project management, and equipment reliability.
  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems (technical understanding preferred).
  • Hands-on leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
