About the Company

We have partnered with an Australian founded personal care business which remains family owned and run with great success in the Australian and international markets. They have a strong retail presence through grocery and pharmacy channels and are continuously introducing innovative products to the market across skincare and personal care categories. They have been endorsed by influencers and beauty editors and are continuing to grow their social media and online presence. They manufacture products both overseas and within Australia and have a focus on creating innovative products to meet a variety of skincare needs.

About the role

The newly created NPD and Product Manager will support the continued growth of the organisation by leading and enhancing the NPD process and delivery. Reporting into the Sales & Marketing Director, this person will support them to achieve company goals and meet the needs of retailers and consumers with their product range. This person will communicate and negotiate with suppliers overseas and in Australia and own these relationships. A key part of this role will be to stay up to date with skincare trends and market analysis to understand what products to bring to market and stay ahead of their competitors. The NPD and Product Manager will be elevating this function of the business, bringing in new process improvements and scaling up NPD capabilities.

About You

Skincare experience will be highly regarded for this role, otherwise personal care and consumer health experience will be considered. You must have experience working to fast turnarounds and delivering on timelines set by retailers and the broader business. You must have excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage supplier relationships across Korea, China and Australia. You must be analytical and immerse yourself into the skincare industry, the brands target customers and stay ahead of trends. You must have experience leading the New Product Development process autonomously and be able to feed back to the business around process improvements.
