Six Degrees Executive are delighted to be representing an industry leader in the world of fashion, as they seek a Product Manager to join their Brisbane Product Development team.

Off the back of an exciting period of growth across multiple business functions, this dynamic business looks for an accomplished and hands on product development specialist, who can support their apparel initiatives for Australia.
 
Joining an already established Product Development team, the Product Manager can expect to support on product development, design and delivery for existing and new, soon to be released products within the portfolio. Other responsibilities of the Product Manager will include:
  • Oversee the end-to-end product design process, including research, conceptual presentations, and sample execution, ensuring alignment with the brand's identity and in collaboration with the Design and Development leadership team.
  • Manage project timelines and calendars effectively, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of key milestones and any updates, including local and international team members
  • Collaborate closely with Production and Product Development teams on vendor selection, pre-costing, and quality control to ensure standards are met.
  • Foster a high-performing and collaborative culture within the Merchandising team, by setting clear expectations and striving to achieve defined targets.
  • Demonstrate expertise in patternmaking and grading; familiarity with blazer design and development processes is a plus.
 
Qualifications:
  • 3–6+ years of experience in product design or product development
  • Strong knowledge of apparel design, garment development and construction – from clothing to outerwear to accessories, this experience can be specific or broad
  • Comprehensive understanding of fabrics, functional trims, and fit requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
