Role Overview

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive further expansion in the 3PL world. This role is brand new and is integral to executing the growth strategy of the business nationally, with a focus on new business with management of key accounts. You'll play a pivotal role in building relationships, delivering tailored solutions, and shaping the future of logistics technology. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through daily cold calling and client meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop tailored solutions for customers while promoting the company’s service offerings.
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage client data, analyse performance, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and industry events to grow your network.
 
Skills and Attributes
  • Proven experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a strategic sales role.
  • Strong background in warehousing, 3PL, or supply chain, with a minimum of 3 years in the sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 and CRM platforms like HubSpot.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and passionate about exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment.
