Our client is a Fortune 500 manufacturing organisation with a multi -billion-dollar global footprint spanning dozens of countries. Recognised as a market leader in their product category, this business has been able to continually grow through a mix of acquisition and innovation. With sustainability being a core driver for the business historically and moving forward, the organisation has shown demonstrated drive to invest in both product portfolios and their brands.  We are looking for someone to join the team in January for a 9 - 12m contract.   
 
About the role:
This key role as a National Channel Activation Manager,  leading a small team you will focus on driving and elevating the in-store presence and experience with all major retail partners nationally as well as their key trade partners.    You will work with key external agencies to lead the creative development & execution of campaigns ensuring they are delivered on time and in budget and review all ROI feedings insights and key learnings into future campaigns.    Internally you champion the program working closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment, coach, and mentor your team day to day.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the existing trade / retail activation calendar across B2B and B2C channels including trade shows, sampling campaigns and promotional activity
  • Work cohesively with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on all campaigns in market
  • Manage, mentoring and coach a small team
  • Opportunity to work in key projects such as creative asset relaunch across the entire business as well as a rebrand across all touch points in conjunction with Brand /Marketing
  • Opportunity to provide insights, input into trade loyalty and how to make this more effective
  • Continue to refine reporting, focus on ROI / taking key insights and feeding into future campaigns   
 
 About You:
  • Experience in trade/retail marketing, within FMCG or Hardware space   
  • Proven experience utilising data and insights to develop the trade marketing and activation strategy
  • Strong project management and budget management experience
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, both internally externally
  • Curious mindset and willingness to learn
