A leading technology consulting firm is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to join their Strategy & Advisory team, based in Melbourne CBD. This role offers the opportunity to combine technical expertise with strategic consulting, working closely with clients to design, implement, and transform technology solutions. The successful candidate will engage with senior stakeholders, develop tailored technology strategies, and lead complex projects to deliver business-driven results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, facilitating workshops, capturing business requirements, and providing actionable insights.
  • Design and develop technology solutions and strategic roadmaps that align with client business objectives, including preparing clear business cases.
  • Lead solution evaluations, vendor assessments, and oversee Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to ensure technology choices meet client specifications.
  • Provide expert guidance on technology architecture, integrating best practices in scalability, security, and performance.
  • Offer leadership to technical teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and on-time completion of complex projects.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, offering thought leadership to enhance client solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technology consulting, solution architecture, or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear communication for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams and managing client engagements.
  • Broad knowledge of technology stacks, including core business systems, data & cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
