Coopers is seeking an Area Manager to join their team in a key role responsible for delivering exceptional results across the Coopers portfolio and its partner brands within a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Sales Growth: Contribute to the execution of national and state sales strategies, ensuring achievement of annual sales and financial targets.
  • Brand Development: Manage relationships with key on-premise and off-premise customers, promoting and executing the Coopers brand portfolio with excellence.
  • Territory Management: Utilize CRM tools to monitor and track all sales activities, and ensure strategic alignment with the trade marketing calendar.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers, leveraging your negotiation and influencing skills to achieve mutual success.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the State Sales team, providing feedback and sharing your insights to contribute to high-performance culture and state goals.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a similar sales role within the FMCG or liquor industry, with a proven track record of exceeding sales and distribution targets.
  • Qualifications: A full driver’s license and RSA certificate are mandatory. A tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or related discipline is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication. Ability to manage competing priorities in a structured and planned way.
  • Personal Qualities: A self-motivated, results-oriented individual who aligns with Coopers’ guiding principles of Passion, Respect, Responsibility, Consistency, and Service.
