Accounts Payable Officer - 12 Month FTC

We are recruiting for a prestigious luxury goods/retail business based in Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join a fast-paced, high-performing team on a 12-month contract with the potential to go permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor Invoice Management: Accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor account reconciliations, and avoiding duplicate payments.
  • Vendor Master Data: Ensure data accuracy in SAP and timely validation of vendor workflow requests.
  • Expense Management: Validate CONCUR expense claims in line with T&E policy and process boutique petty cash reports.
  • Intercompany: Process intercompany invoices, resolve system errors, and prepare netting payments.
  • Reporting & Closing: Prepare monthly reports, manage accruals, and perform intercompany reconciliations.
  • User Support: Provide support and training on PO/VIM/Vendor workflow/CONCUR for staff and new joiners.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally from an MNC or large accounting firm.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to create automation templates.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
