Our client is an entrepreneurial business at heart and represents an incredible founder led success story.

As the business continues to grow and evolve, we are supporting them across several functional areas, with the hiring of a newly created Finance Manager role being central to the ongoing success of finance support to the business.  We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to manage a small team (4-5 people) and work in a hands on role reporting to the CFO.

You responsibilities will include areas including the following:
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, including board reporting.
  • Preparation and lodgement of all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, such as tax compliance, financial statements, and BAS lodgement.
  • Support the annual budget and quarterly forecast process.
  • Control year-end audit activities and, where required, have robust discussions with external auditors to ensure any matters that arise are resolved effectively.
  • Business partnering with key members of the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities, and drive actions across teams.
  • Provide ad hoc support to stakeholders as required
  • Experience with NetSuite would be well regarded, although not essential.
As a qualified finance professional, you will report to the CFO and be capable of taking full ownership of the finance function. Through results in your previous roles, you will be able to display strong financial acumen along with the ability to deliver clear, insightful reporting and forecasting.

You will have a proven ability to collaborate and support at all levels and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and your team.  As someone commercially astute, you will ideally have an understanding of an ecommerce business model or apparel / fashion.  Ideally some of your experience will have been in a growth business where you have demonstrated an ability to improve systems and processes.
