From the world’s most loved and highest-selling board game, MONOPOLY DREAMS Melbourne is the largest MONOPOLY DREAMS in the world - a fully immersive and interactive experience featuring games, challenges, augmented reality and hologram technology that opened in November 2023 in the city’s busiest shopping centre, Melbourne Central.
THE ROLE:
The Marketing and Sales Manager role is a critical role within the management team, responsible for driving guest visitation, growing attraction awareness and delivering commercial conversions. Leading a team of three: Marketing Executive; Trade Sales Specialist and Booking Officer, this role has commercial responsibility for visitation growth through the delivery of innovative sales and marketing strategies.
With play at the heart of the attraction, we are looking for someone who knows how to roll the dice and create impactful fun and innovative ideas and solutions both within and outside of Monopoly Dreams Melbourne. Driving guest demand is paramount, along with delivering a memorable experience in line with our vision and mission.

- Build and drive the brand marketing strategy through to roll out
- Oversee all marketing and sales collateral, working alongside the Hasbro team
- Lead a team of 3 marketing and sales professionals
- Manage the marketing and sales budget
- Activity manage business development with the broader sales and marketing team to ensure pipeline of future bookings across school excursions, parties, events and trade is delivered
- Implement strategies to grow the subscriber database and social followers to build the Monopoly Dreams Melbourne community
- Explore meaningful partnerships and drive collaborations with affiliative brands, businesses and industry bodies
- Lead the development of seasonal campaigns for the whole business, bringing key themes and hallmark moments to life throughout the attraction, retail store and café.
- Create initiatives to maintain visitor numbers outside of school holidays with a focus on weekdays and shoulder seasons
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A commercially led marketing professional with 6+ years' experience in entertainment, tourism, retail or similar
- An entrepreneurial mindset with high energy is essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven experience developing strategic plans in marketing and sales
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Previous experience in managing and motivating teams
- Commercial acumen with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Results driven with aptitude for reporting, analytics, consumer insights
- Passion for the entertainment, tourism or hospitality industry
- Strong attention to detail, innovative and creative
