About the company
This is an established family owned supplier and distributor of aftermarket equipment, engines, generators and more. A passionate and quality driven business, they have a National network of offices, workshops, and dealers. After a retirement, they are now seeking their next Engineering & Warranty Manager. 

About the role
In this role you'll provide engineering advice and support to customers both pre and post sale, you'll support them in ensuring the equipment they're purchasing is fit for purpose, that they make the best selection, and that it is supplied, installed, and commissioned correctly. You'll manage the engineering team across in the workshops to drive safety, quality, and efficiency of orders and projects. You'll provide technical advice and support the introducion of new products to the range, and generally act as the subject matter expert for all things technical within the business.

About you
We're seeking someone who has technical leadership experience within a relevant or transferable engineering product type:
  • Mechanical engineering or trades background
  • Experience with a relevant product category (automotive, marine, diesel or electric engines, generators, or similar)
  • Experience in managing warranty claims / aftersales
  • Experience managing trades and workshop type environments
