The Opportunity

 
We are seeking a Procurement Manager to play a pivotal role in developing the state of play within the procurement function through a period of change. Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing strategic tender activity, contract management, and supplier relationship management across the key categories of professional services, recruitment, corporate services, advertising, and marketing. 
  • Overseeing supplier performance and relationships, providing support to business units for relevant spend categories.
  • Leading market analysis and research to provide competitive insights on key suppliers and the supplier landscape.
  • Collaborating with the Centre of Excellence to ensure the effective adoption of procurement systems across supported business units.
  • Actively leading cross-functional working groups for early procurement engagement in critical projects.
  • Developing strong internal and external relationships to facilitate procurement activities that benefit the organisation.
  • Collaboratively developping insights and reports on overall spend and supplier performance, with the support from a Procurement Analyst.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Strong Experience in Procurement: Proven background in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, ideally within the Finance sector, with a focus on corporate services / indirect spend categories.
  • Supplier Management Skills: Strong capabilities in managing supplier relationships and performance.
  • Contract Negotiation Experience: Demonstrated experience in handling complex contract negotiations across diverse categories.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis to derive insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively across teams and build relationships.
