The Opportunity
 
We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Manager to engage closely with the Chief Technology Officer and their team. In this role, you will ensure that the IT landscape and strategy are commercially actionable and effectively managed across third-party suppliers and partners.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing critical and strategic suppliers, focusing on performance, SLAs, and risk measures.
  • Developing commercial supply arrangements for software, SaaS, and IT Professional Services.
  • Actively managing commercial and supply risk in critical IT projects and systems implementations.
  • Collaborating with business unit heads to identify current and future IT needs, ensuring a commercial fit and avoiding tech debt.
  • Leading the Tech Procurement Forum to assess and approve IT procurements in partnership with the CTO.
  • Maintaining a commercial risk register and collaborating with the CISO and Risk team for contract compliance.
  • Establishing an IT preferred supplier panel with pre-qualification criteria, including ESG and performance metrics.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Rich Experience in Procurement: Proven background in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, ideally within the Technology or Finance sectors.
  • Supplier Management Skills: Strong capabilities in managing IT suppliers and contracts, with a focus on SaaS, IT services, applications, security, and cybersecurity.
  • Contract Negotiation Experience: Demonstrated experience in handling complex contract negotiations across diverse technology categories.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to assess supplier performance and drive strategic decisions.
