Key Responsibilities:
- Governance & Process Uplift: Lead the development of procurement governance structures and implement best practices to support the team's ability to achieve strategic, sustainable outcomes. Assess current procurement maturity and implement standards for improvement.
- Team Enablement: Empower the procurement team by designing tools, processes, and resources that support more streamlined and effective operations
- Stakeholder Influence & Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with procurement leads, key stakeholders, and global partners. Collaborate closely with senior leadership to identify and prioritise high-impact initiatives, structuring the procurement team for greater effectiveness.
- Sustainability Integration: Support Procurement Managers in driving processes that align with the company’s sustainability goals. Promote supplier engagement for sustainable sourcing and responsible practices.
- System and Process Optimisation: Leverage existing tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics P2P, to drive compliance and streamline workflows. With a strong compliance rate on preferred suppliers, this role will explore opportunities for further enhancements, including implementing contract management solutions and preparing for an ERP upgrade.
- Performance Assessment and Reporting: Develop a structured review process to assess procurement performance, identify gaps, and create roadmaps for improvement. Provide regular updates on maturity, efficiency, and overall procurement effectiveness.
